This
page was setup to to record the progress of Mick Banks (56) and
Helen Bailey
(42) as they cycled from Rochford, Essex in the UK to Dunedin, New
Zealand (and
a bit more!)
They had a leaving party on 17th July 1999 - to show off their
'wheels',
a couple of rather smart Dawes tourers - and finally departed on 9th
August
1999. They arrived back in the UK in February 2001. See their account of the journey
- country-by-country. |
